Welcome to the Boeing Employees Flying Club of St. Louis website. We are a flying club composed of Boeing Company employees and retirees. Membership is contingent on an employment affiliation with The Boeing Company or as a service provider to the club. We are based at Creve Coeur Airport (1H0) in St. Louis, MO.
BEFC-STL is a pilot’s club organized as a non-profit organization and is affiliated with the Boeing Recreation Services Council. The club membership is made up of aviation enthusiasts who are interested in owning & operating general aviation aircraft for personal flying. The club owns a Piper Warrior and a Cessna 172 that is available for members at a reasonable per-hour cost.
Due to changes in Boeing’s employee flight incentive program, we no longer offer primary flight instruction in our club aircraft. We refer student pilots to any of the excellent local area flight schools and offer mentorship and networking during their flight training.
Both our club’s Cessna 172 and Piper Warrior are available to our pilot members for travel/trips and can be used for advanced training. Both aircraft are fully IFR including Garmin WAAS GPS and ADS-B in/out
Quote of the Day:
By day, or on a cloudless night, a pilot may drink the wine of the gods, but it has an earthly taste; he's a god of the earth, like one of the Grecian deities who lives on worldly mountains and descended for intercourse with men. But at night, over a stratus layer, all sense of the planet may disappear. You know that down below, beneath that heavenly blanket is the earth, factual and hard. But it's an intellectual knowledge; it's a knowledge tucked away in the mind; not a feeling that penetrates the body. And if at times you renounce experience and mind's heavy logic, it seems that the world has rushed along on its orbit, leaving you alone flying above a forgotten cloud bank, somewhere in the solitude of interstellar space. — Charles A Lindbergh
