BEFC Rules

The two primary documents the define the operation of the Boeing Flying Club, the By-Laws and the Procedures & Operating Rules Manual. The latest By-laws were amended and published in September of 2017.  The purpose of the By-Laws is to establish the organization, establish member eligibility and member type definitions, define the club officers and their duties, establish subcommittees, empower the board of directors, and set organizational procedures for voting and amending.

The Operating Rules establish the club practices, procedures, and rules all members must agree to follow as a condition of membership.  Sections define membership requirements, costs, payments, leave of absence, terminations, rules when operating aircraft, reserving aircraft and limits, flight delays & difficulties, CFI requirements, Infractions & violations, waivers and deviations.  The Appendices specifies all current fees, dues, rates, and other costs,  Checkout procedures, and Required briefings.
