The BEFC is overseen by a Board of Directors which consists of six officers who each serve 2 year terms. The terms are staggered so only three are replaced/elected each year.
The current BEFC-STL Board of Directors are:

- Safety Officer – John L (2026/2027)
- Operations Officer – Chris G (2025/2026)
- Finance Officer / Treasurer – James B (2026/2027)
- Communications Officer / Secretary – Gary V (2025/2026)
